Interest rate fluctuations could negatively affect our profitability. Our results may fluctuate as a result of many factors, including cyclical changes in the insurance industry. Our geographic concentration in both our property and casualty insurance and life insurance segments tie our performance to the business, economic and regulatory conditions of those states. If we cannot adequately meet our independent agents needs or keep pace with our competitors future technological advances, we may lose business. If market conditions cause reinsurance to be more costly or unavailable, we may be required to bear increased risks or reduce the level of our underwriting commitments. We cannot guarantee that our reinsurers will pay claims in a timely fashion, if at all. As a result, we could experience losses. Legal and regulatory proceedings may have an adverse effect on our business. We face significant competitive pressures in our business that could cause demand for our products to fall and reduce our revenue and our profitability. Because we are heavily regulated by the states in which we operate, we may be limited in the way we operate.
