Our business is subject to the success of the local economy in which we operate. If the value of real estate in northwestern suburbs of Boston were to decline materially, a significant portion of our loan portfolio could become under-collateralized, which could have a material adverse effect on us. Our continued pace of growth may require us to raise additional capital in the future, but that capital may not be available when it is needed. Competition from financial institutions and other financial service providers may adversely affect our growth and profitability. Fluctuations in interest rates could reduce our profitability and affect the value of our assets. Our allowance for loan losses may prove to be insufficient to absorb losses in our loan portfolio.
