Our loan portfolio possesses increased risk due to our substantial number of multi-family, commercial real estate, consumer and commercial business loans. We plan to increase residential and commercial construction and development lending activities, which will increase the risk in our loan portfolio. Rising interest rates may hurt our profits. If economic conditions deteriorate, our results of operations and financial condition could be adversely impacted as borrowers' ability to repay loans declines and the value of the collateral securing our loans decreases. Strong competition within our market area may limit our growth and profitability. The amount of common stock we control, our articles of incorporation and bylaws, and state and federal statutory provisions could discourage hostile acquisitions of control. We operate in a highly regulated environment, and we may be adversely affected by changes in laws and regulations.
