If market conditions cause reinsurance to be more costly or unavailable, we may be required to bear increased risks or reduce the level of our underwriting commitments. Changes in healthcare policy could have a material effect on our operations. We may be unable to identify future strategic acquisitions or expected benefits from completed and proposed acquisitions may not be achieved or may be delayed longer than expected. Our business could be adversely affected by the loss of independent agents. We are a holding company and are dependent on dividends and other payments from our operating subsidiaries, which are subject to dividend restrictions.
