The Bank s operations are concentrated in the Piedmont region of North Carolina along the I-85/I-40 corridor. The Bank is exposed to risks in connection with the loans it makes. The Company s trading volume has been low compared with larger national and regional banks. Changes in interest rates affect profitability and assets.
