The Bank s operations are concentrated in the Piedmont region of North Carolina along the I-85/I-40 corridor. The Bank is exposed to risks in connection with the loans it makes. The Company and the Bank compete with much larger companies for some of the same business. The Company s trading volume has been low compared with larger national and regional banks.
