We have a concentration of credit exposure in commercial real estate. Competition in the banking industry is intense and may adversely affect our profitability. Changes in local economic conditions where we operate could have a negative effect on us. If our allowance for loan losses is not sufficient to cover actual loan losses, our earnings could decrease. We could suffer loan losses from a decline in credit quality and support. The banking industry is heavily regulated and such regulation could limit or restrict our activities and adversely affect our earnings. Changes in monetary policy could adversely affect our profitability. Changes in interest rates could have an adverse effect on our net interest income. Liquidity needs could adversely affect our results of operations and financial condition. We may face risks with respect to future de novo branch expansion and acquisitions or mergers. Combining acquired companies may be more difficult, costly, or time-consuming than we expect. Our ability to pay dividends is limited and we may be unable to pay future dividends.
