Our profitability is dependent upon the health of the markets in which we operate Interest rates and other conditions impact our results of operations. We must effectively manage our credit risk, including risks specific to real estate value due to the large concentration of real estate loans in our loan portfolio. Our construction and development loans are based upon estimates of costs and value associated with the complete project. These estimates may be inaccurate and we may be exposed to more losses on these projects than on other loans. Our allowance for loan losses must be managed to provide sufficient reserves to absorb potential losses in our loan portfolio. Our growth must be effectively managed and our growth strategy involves risks that may impact our net income. We must compete with other banks and financial institutions in all lines of business. We may need to raise additional capital in the future, which may not be available when it is needed. Our ability to attract and retain management and key personnel may affect future growth and earnings. Government regulation can result in limitations on our operations. Technology is continually changing and we must effectively implement new innovations in providing services to our customers. There is a limited trading market for our common shares and, as with all companies, shareholders may not be able to resell shares at or above the price shareholders paid for them. System failure or breaches of our network security could subject us to increased operating costs, damage to our reputation, litigation and other liabilities. We are subject to certain operational risks, including, but not limited to, customer or employee fraud and data processing system failures and errors. Failure to pay interest on our debt may adversely impact our ability to pay dividends.
