In this semester (2018 Spring), there are totally 15 team projects for my course “AM045: Introduction to Business Computing”. Although most students are only first-year undergraduates with no/little prior programming experience, they have done amazing jobs. Below, I list all the projects by topics.

Multimedia:

  • “Flappy Blocks Go!!!” by the team “JCGH (Jointly Carry Highest GPA)”

    • This project creates a fun game called “Flappy Blocks Go!!!” which allows the user to control the game by sound volume.

    • This project creates a fun game called “Run! Starfish!” which allows the user to control the game by sound volume.

  • “You Are Beautiful” by the team “URBeautiful”
    • Team members: Tiffany Yen, 沈陆晗, 李悦苹, 沈晓玥
    • This project creates a simplified Meitu App that allows the user to add stickers, do makeups, and beautify faces in both images and real-time videos (using webcam).

    • This project uses the computer vision technique to automatically convert a video to ASCII Art Animation in real-time.

    • This project uses the deep learning technique (Convolutional Neural Network) for the recognition of handwriting letters.

    • This project creates a voice changer program which allows the user to sound like a man or woman.

    • This project creates a program that can automatically identify the shortest path in a map.

    • This project uses the econometric models to investigate the factors that may drive the long-term economic growth.
